With my due date creeping up on me quickly, I thought it was about time to speak about what to pack in your hospital bag. Now since I can only go off what I've researched online I thought I'd reach out once again to my squad of new mums & find out what their top 5+ hospital bag essentials were... these aren't all the standard must haves, but any extra things they thought were worth taking !!
Sophie
- Sponge or flannel - keep fresh during labour
- Phone charger
- Nice soft towel - theres nothing like your own towel when your exhausted & the hospital ones don't always cut it !!
- Layers- most wards and centres are too hot, to take options to keep you cool. Lightweight joggers and feeding vests
- Your birth partner - might sound stupid but they're the most important thing!
- Carseat - you won't be allowed to take baby home without one if your driving

- Grohush- helps soothe newborns in busy hospital wards
- Grosnug sleeping bag
- Andrex wipes & face wipes to freshen up
- Large reusable water bottle
- iPod
- Towel, pillow & blanket from home
- Slippers
- Snacks

- Minimal bags- get a big enough bag to fit everything, you down want to be searching hundreds of smaller bags. Take the baby changing bag for baby and one for you stuff

- Baby clothes, make sure you have a hat
- Sanitary towels
- Comfiest clothes you can find to come home in
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
