Preventing Stretch Marks

Well, if there's one thing I can almost guarantee every women at least tries to do in pregnancy is prevent those lovely tiger stripes. I would smear myself in pretty much anything if it meant stretch marks were less likely, not necessarily from a vein point of view but I work as a model and want to continue working after baby. A few here and there would not matter, however I would rather avoid the big red ones if I can. I already have a few on my bum from before pregnancy and to be honest I have no problem with them, what women in their late 20's doesn't ? If thats you , please comment and tell us your secret ;)

All jokes aside, I've been doing some research into the best oils, creams, lotions and potions to help prevent SM's. Yet again, every single women on this planet has a different solution with what works with their individual skin. However, what seems to be a common method is natural oils. Now rather than scooping out coconut oil from a jar & mixing with essential oils at home (like pintrest suggested more than once),  I decided to do a bit of research for a nice natural brand that did all the mixing and hard work for me.

Introducing LOVE BOO!!
I came across them by checking the 'mothers & baby rewards 2017' for best maternity skincare products. I love these rewards because they are judged by real mums, and who else to trust more ? They have 'Miracle Oil' (£15.99) for stretch mark prevention and its made with almond oil, argan oil (improves skin elasticity, perfect)  and passionflower oil. When I first tried this on my belly I was genuinely shocked at how well it absorbed into my skin, especially for an oily product. There is nothing worse than pulling on a top with a slimy belly. Blergh, no thanks! Anyway, so that was the 1st box ticked. Secondly I noticed the very subtle smell of sweet lemon. Now notice the word subtle, I don't know about you but I really do not like overpowering smells in my skin products, I really don't want to walk around stinking of anything, even if its not a bad smell so the fact the scent was subtle made me very happy. Now obviously I'm yet to "stretch" so I will keep you all updated on the results but I have a very good feeling.

Love Boo Mum & Baby countdown kit

My first thoughts were , god how cute is this packaging and what a great idea for a baby shower present. Then I started to delve into what all the bottles were and I can't wait to use the mummy ones personally (especially the bath soak) but I also can't wait to use the baby ones when my little one arrives :) Then I realised what perineum massage was, and what it (hopefully) will prevent and all those bubble bath & baby daydreams went away lol. For those who don't know, perineum massage is to help prevent tearing during birth, eeekk. Scary stuff, however if this helps by even 5% il give it a go, but thats a whole other story for another time.

Right now Feel Unique has 15% off LOVE BOO so the 'miracle oil' is only £13.55 ! Bargain

  1. Motherhood is a gift. Other than the stretch marks that appear on our tummies during and after this period, everything about pregnancy is lovely. On how to get rid of those stretch marks, read more here>> Best Cream for Stretch marks During Pregnancy
